The Taft College Summer STEM Program is a unique opportunity where students can explore topics ranging from robotics and engineering to ecology and resource conservation. Within a theme, STEM participants are engaged in a combination of short discussions and lectures combined with a heavy dose of hands-on individual and group activities to reinforce theory and application. Summer STEM allows students to explore areas of STEM during the time they are not in school. Hands-on activities may seem just for fun, but there’s lots of learning going on during this week!
Past activities have included chemistry, biology, 3D printing, circuits, water robotics and design.
